Project Optimist commissioned artist Chandler Lannes to create a nontraditional political comic. R.C. Drews developed the concept to help illustrate the ambivalence toward nuclear power that he discovered in months of reporting.

If you haven't read that first part of the series, check it out on our website. It looks at the complicated politics around nuclear which don't follow strict party lines. That story is illustrated with art by Andi Lynn Arnold.

Please plan to join us Tuesday, Nov. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. for a virtual discussion about nuclear power in Minnesota. More details to come.
