We're at the heart of summer now. I hope you're enjoying time off this week for July 4th (and maybe a few extra days too!).

We switched things up on our site, and you can read nearly everything we've ever published by searching through our key categories: environment, business, social issues and art. You can read past newsletters in the archives there too.

Last week I sent out a stack of packages with Project Optimist notebooks and stickers to the folks who donated in June. I'm going to extend those gifts for this week! Help us celebrate the first anniversary of this newsletter with a gift of $25 or more. Better yet, become a monthly donor!

1. Know anyone who needs some news they can feel good about? Send them the link and encourage them to subscribe to the newsletter.
2. Help us find a leader for our newsroom. Share our job post with journalists who would make a good managing editor. We need someone to help us develop our high-quality and unique journalism content.
3. We're also looking for a social media storyteller to help us reach new audiences and experiment with different mediums. Share the details with any social media wizards in your life.
4. And finally, we're recruiting dialogue moderators for another training in August. If you're worried about polarization and are even-keeled, you're likely a good fit. Learn about the dialogue program and send me a note if you're interested.
